ClinicalQI Healthtech LLP · Nagpur, India

Clinician-built software for the newborn's first days.

ClinicalQI builds documentation, quality and clinical decision support tools for Indian NICUs — engineered to published guidelines, designed for the bedside, and disciplined about where the regulatory lines sit.

One platform across the newborn's journey

Why ClinicalQI exists

Better outcomes for every newborn — from birth, through the NICU, to home.

ClinicalQI exists to improve neonatal outcomes at every stage of the newborn’s journey. That starts with the people at the bedside: we streamline every nursing task so that nurses spend their time with babies — not buried in documentation, manual or digital.

Every solution is custom-made for neonates and NICUs — never adapted from adult care — and built by Dr. Harshal Khade, a practising neonatologist who lives these workflows every day.

Because tools alone don’t change outcomes, we collaborate with Acuity Academy to train and upskill nursing teams — making the people more capable, not just the process more efficient.

Birth

Protocol-perfect resuscitation in the first golden minutes.

NeoRes

NICU

Streamlined nursing workflow, NABH evidence and medication safety.

Home

Discharge and beyond — the journey doesn’t end at the NICU door.

More software on the way

The portfolio

One journey. A growing portfolio.

ClinicalQI is the umbrella — one company, one standard of clinical rigour — under which every product is built. From the first ten minutes of life, through every shift of NICU care, to every dose prescribed, each product covers one stage of the newborn's journey.

Neonatal resuscitation

NeoRes

Real-time, vitals-driven clinical decision support for neonatal resuscitation — turning live heart rate, SpO₂ and temperature into step-by-step guidance aligned with the IAP NRP STG 2022 and AHA/AAP NRP 9th Edition (2025).

  • Protocol-driven, step-by-step NRP guidance from live vitals
  • Designed to integrate with compatible neonatal monitors
  • Voice guidance in English, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil
  • Version 2 Gestational-age, preterm & CDH-aware pathways
  • Fully functional offline — no patient data leaves the device
  • Post-resuscitation documentation and handover summary

NeoRes is currently in development, with its regulatory pathway in progress. It is intended to support, not replace, the clinical judgement of trained healthcare providers.

Nursing quality & compliance system

NeoEnigma

A nursing workflow and daily-operations optimisation tool that generates the NABH evidence pack for the NICU. Nurses document care once at the bedside — every register, KPI and evidence pack derives automatically, so compliance becomes the byproduct of good care.

17 bedside forms
26 auto-derived registers
24 nursing-sensitive KPIs
4 quality workflows
1-click NABH evidence pack
  • Tamper-evident, SHA-256 hash-chained audit trail with named attribution
  • Designed around NABH 6th Edition requirements
  • ABHA capture at registration (ABDM Milestone 1)
  • Online platform, touch-first — built for all handheld devices and laptops
  • Planned Live vitals streaming from the Acuity Neocare monitor
  • CAPA and quality-workflow training through Acuity Academy — a complete ecosystem

Neonatal medication safety

NeoRx

Clinical decisions, calculated precisely. NeoFax/NNF-based drug dosing with GA, DOL and renal correction, IVF & TPN calculation with fluid-overload prevention, electrolyte correction, and print-ready order sheets — all in one place.

  • 56+ neonatal drugs with weight-, GA- and DOL-based dosing tiers
  • 14+ continuous infusions with drip-rate calculation
  • IVF & TPN calculation with fluid-overload prevention
  • Na/K/Ca correction calculators with AKI detection from creatinine
  • Unified, print-ready A4 order sheets — reviewed and signed by the physician

NeoRx is a clinical decision support tool. All orders require physician review, verification and signature before administration. It does not replace clinical judgment.

All ClinicalQI products are currently under development, and more software across the newborn’s journey is on the way. Feature listings reflect what each product is committed to at launch; roadmap capabilities are never presented as shipped.

How we build

Precision is a process, not a feature.

Guideline-driven, cross-validated

Clinical content is derived from published Indian guidelines — NNF Clinical Practice Guidelines, AIIMS protocols, IAP — and international references such as NeoFax and the AHA/AAP NRP, cross-validated across sources and reviewed by a Neonatologist before release.

Physician in the loop, always

Every product is designed as decision support or documentation. Physicians review, verify and sign clinical outputs; nurses document real care, not audit forms. Software never replaces clinical judgment.

Evidence you can trust

Append-only registers, hash-chained audit trails and named attribution on every entry. What a surveyor, auditor or court sees is what actually happened at the bedside — no manual write path, no retrospective edits.

Regulatory discipline by design

We know exactly where the medical-device line sits and we engineer to it — deliberate capture-and-display boundaries where appropriate, formal SaMD development where warranted, and a firewall between the two.

Quality & compliance

Built to standards. Honest about status.

How every product is built

Quality at ClinicalQI is a company-wide discipline, not a per-product afterthought. Every product is developed under quality-management and software-lifecycle processes aligned to international medical-software standards, with risk management and usability engineering built into the process — and every piece of clinical content is reviewed by a Neonatologist before release.

  • ISO 13485
  • IEC 62304
  • ISO 14971
  • IEC 62366-1
  • IEC 82304-1

Patient safety leads every design decision: physicians review, verify and sign clinical outputs, and each product is engineered with a clear view of where the medical-device line sits. Where a product falls within the scope of India’s Medical Device Rules 2017, it will reach the market only with the appropriate CDSCO licence — regulatory pathways are in progress.

Data protection & integrity

All infrastructure is hosted in India on AWS (Mumbai region), with per-facility isolation, pseudonymised analytics and no PII egress — an architecture aligned to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Clinical records are engineered to be tamper-evident: append-only storage, cryptographically hash-chained audit trails, and named attribution on every entry. What was recorded is what happened — data cannot be silently altered or deleted. And every system is built for the realities of Indian hospital networks.

About ClinicalQI

Built by a clinician who lived the problem.

ClinicalQI Healthtech LLP was founded in Nagpur by Dr. Harshal Khade, a practising neonatologist building the tools he wished his own unit had — software shaped by real NICU workflow, not adapted to it afterwards. The company is incubated at BioNEST DMIHER, Wardha, a DBT-BIRAC supported bioincubator.
